After enduring a Traumatic Brain Injury that required her to rebuild a new life from scratch (a remarkable experience thoroughly detailed on the Repeller site), Abigail Bruley did a deep-dive into neuroscience to get a clear understanding of what was happening inside her recovering and ever-evolving brain. She found mindfulness and meditation as a way to foster a harmonious relationship to these changes and discovered the psychological modalities that would support the building of a new way of being in the world.

Abigail has served as a trauma peer mentor at Magee Rehabilitation Hospital, trained at the Myrna Brand Center for Mindfulness at Jefferson University, The University of Penn Medicine Center for Mindfulness, and has been granted qualification in teaching MBSR from Brown University School of Public Health.
